The one fact that trips people up: NA, NB, and ND Miatas are 4x100, but the NC is 5x114.3. Do not assume all Miatas share a bolt pattern; the NC is the odd one out.

- The NC breaks the pattern with 5x114.3 and a wider track, so NA/NB wheels do not fit it and vice versa.
- The ND returns to 4x100, so many 4x100 wheels fit NA/NB/ND, but check offset and width; the ND is wider and its arches and brakes differ.
Practical cautions:
- Offset matters as much as bolt pattern. A 4x100 wheel with the wrong offset will rub or poke. Stock Miata offsets sit in the +40 to +45 range; stray far from that and you invite fender and suspension clearance problems.
- Center bore varies; use hubcentric rings if an aftermarket wheel has a larger bore, so the wheel centers on the hub rather than the studs.
Bottom line: memorize 4x100 for NA/NB/ND and 5x114.3 for NC, and always confirm offset before buying.
