The RF is the hardtop ND, and it is a different animal from the soft top. It is a targa, not a coupe: only the roof panel and rear glass stow, while the flying buttresses stay fixed.
The mechanism is an electric multi-link setup. Press the switch at rest or up to a low creep speed and the buttress section lifts, the roof panel and rear window fold into the space behind the seats, then the buttresses settle back down
